Our policies

No contract, cancel anytime
Every plan is month to month. There is no minimum term, no annual commitment, no early-termination fee, and no automatic multi-year renewal buried in paragraph nineteen. You are choosing us again every month, on purpose.
To cancel, email hello@nhmediaweb.com and say you want to cancel. That is the whole procedure. You do not need to give a reason, sit through a retention call, or submit anything on letterhead. We stop the recurring charge and send you a written confirmation.
And if you are new, there is a guarantee. Decide within your first 14 days that this is not for you, and you get a full refund of everything you have paid, no questions asked. First-time signups only, and we mean the no-questions part. On a guarantee refund the site comes down right away, since every dollar comes back; past the first 14 days, a month already served is not refunded.
What happens after you cancel
- Service continues through the period you already paid for. If you cancel on the 3rd and your billing date is the 20th, your site stays live and supported until the 20th.
- After that date the site comes down. The hosting, the certificate, and the maintenance are what the subscription pays for, so they end when it ends.
- We keep an archive of your website build on file for at least six months in case you would like to reactivate your website. Coming back inside that window is quick.
- Your domain keeps working and stays yours. It is registered in your name, so you can point it at a new host, a new provider, or a temporary page whenever you like.
- We send you your content. After ending service, we are happy to send you copies of any assets or images you provided to us, if requested within 30 days. Later requests we honor if the files are still available.
- We do not charge a cancellation fee and we do not prorate a partial month back. You keep the service you paid for and nothing more is owed in either direction.
What you own and what we own
This is the part most agencies leave vague. We would rather be blunt, because it affects what you should expect if we ever part ways.
Yours, always
- Your domain name. It is registered in your name, in your own registrar account, paid with your card. If you do not have a domain yet, we handle the setup for you, in your name from the first minute. We never park a client domain in our own account. If you ask us where it is, the answer is always "in your registrar account, where you can see it."
- Your branding. Your business name, logos, and marks are yours. If you commission a logo from us (a one-time fee, listed on the pricing page), the finished mark and its files are yours on payment of that fee, to keep and use anywhere, including after you leave. A wordmark we set in type as part of the site design is part of the site design: it stays with the site rather than becoming a separate deliverable.
- Your content. Photos you supply, text you supply, your menus and price lists, and everything else you hand us stay yours. Your customer inquiries and the messages sent through your contact form are yours too.
- Your accounts. Google Business Profile, Apple Business Connect, social profiles, review platforms, and any third-party service you pay for stay in your name. We work inside them with your permission and you can remove that access at any time.
- Your voice. We never speak to your customers as your business. Reviews, questions, and messages are always yours to answer, in your own words, and nothing is ever posted publicly as your business unless you asked for it.
Ours, while you subscribe
- The site's code, design, and copy. We build, own, and operate the underlying implementation, and the page copy we write and the imagery we source are part of that work. Source files, templates, build tooling, and the design system are not delivered to you and are not part of the subscription.
- The hosting environment. The servers, configuration, deployment pipeline, and monitoring are ours to run.
- Our own components. Anything we wrote before your project or reuse across clients stays ours.
How billing works
- Payments are processed by Stripe. You enter your card on a secure Stripe page. We never see, handle, or store your full card number.
- The first charge happens when you approve your finished site and launch it. That charge is your first month of service, not a build fee. The demo, the build, and every revision before that point were free.
- Billing repeats monthly on the same date until you cancel. The amount is the plan price you agreed to. It does not change without us telling you in advance in writing.
- Every charge sends you a receipt by email from Stripe, with the amount, the date, and the card used. Keep them for your bookkeeping.
- You can manage your own subscription. We provide a self-serve billing portal link where you can update your card, view invoices, download receipts, and cancel without waiting on us.
- If a payment fails, Stripe retries automatically over the following days and emails you. We will also email you before anything is interrupted. Sites are not taken down over an expired card on the same day.
- Your domain never shows an error page while it points at us. If service is ever interrupted, what stands in for your site is a simple page with your business name, phone number, and hours, so your customers still find what they need, and the full site comes back promptly once payment is sorted, usually the same day.
- Price changes to an existing subscription are announced at least 30 days ahead. If you do not want the new price, cancel before it takes effect and nothing further is charged.
- Taxes, where they apply, are shown at checkout and on your receipt.
Edit requests
Every plan includes edits. There is no ticket system to learn, no portal login, and no hourly rate for changing a phone number.
- Email support@nhmediaweb.com. One sentence is a complete request. Attach photos or files directly if you have them. Anything sent to hello@nhmediaweb.com reaches us too.
- Small edits such as hours, prices, contact details, photo swaps, text corrections, and seasonal banners are included on every plan and are usually live within one to two business days.
- New pages and content updates are included monthly on Growth and Premium. On Essential, edits within your up-to-five-page site are normally fine, and we will say so plainly when a request has grown past the plan into Growth territory or a quoted project.
- Priority handling comes with Premium: requested changes are turned around within the same week.
- Urgent corrections such as wrong hours, a wrong phone number, an emergency closure, or anything that could mislead a customer jump the queue on every plan. Just say it is urgent.
- Larger projects such as a full redesign, a new booking system, an e-commerce build, or an additional location get a written quote before any work starts. You will never receive a bill you did not agree to first.
Things we will not do
- We will not register your domain in our name or make it difficult to move.
- We will not put an annual contract in front of you and call it a formality.
- We will not add tracking, pop-ups, or third-party advertising to your site without asking you first.
- We will not sell, rent, or share your contact-form submissions or customer data with anyone.
